Melissa skipped work with ME!

The only bad thing about not having a job anymore is not being able to skip a day of work! So I convinced Melissa to and we took the kids to the Denver zoo. They were quite the scene stealers, holding hands, chasing each other. Brooklyn would yell, "Enie, Enie, come on" and Evan's reply was "coming". Just like an old married couple.
"Enie, look!" A bright blue and yellow frog!Ooooh, fishies.
Their first train ride.
Checking out the hippos.
Holding hands.

What cuties! My little party animal is still going strong at 3pm. Evan--not so much!
But finally, a nap on the way home from Denver.

Easter Fun!!

Easter was extraordinarily fun this year. There is something special about teaching your kid the traditions you did as a kid too! Brooklyn was so excited to sponge paint and dip Easter eggs with her little boyfriend Evan.Melissa, Nick, and Evan.
Bunny Wuv.
This is her first hunt of the day with her buddy Nathan.
And the second, much colder hunt with Evan.

Just checking for the goods!
Her Easter basket with a My Little Pony and lots of other stuff!

Melissa decorated her first cake with me. The guys patiently waited and the kids tore apart the living room by throwing grass and plastic eggs EVERYWHERE.
The dads called it "Easter Aftermath".
Malina brought a special sucker from Mexico.
Look at that dye. They don't make 'em like that in the States :]
