Video of B Casting off the Deck

Check out how far Brooklyn can cast!

Trip to Wyo to see Grandma Lola and Papa

Quick picture after church...Ty just couldn't stay awake.Grandma's Teddy Bears
Hey, I DO fit in the BOX!
Brooklyn was pretty impressed by Grandma's reading material in the bathroom.
We don't have THAT at our home :]
Sinks Canyon was beautiful as always.
Just a quick practice for her senior portrait--ha hah!
We also took a little hike and Brooklyn had her first experience "peeing in the woods?"Went to the river and Daddy hunted in the weeds for a surprise...
Mommy was scared but B even touched it. She later said she wants a real snake for Her House.
First official (professional) haircut. She was pretty quiet but like the penguin cape. Wow--someone could pass for a rodeo cowboy.
Josh had to borrow clothes to help Grandpa bail the hay. I could NOT WAIT till he got out of these clothes!!

Vacation in South Dakota with the Forster Family

After our time in Wyo, we traveled to Hill City and stayed in a huge cabin.
Ty has three months on Will, but it won't be long before Will is bigger than Ty.Princess Time
And always time to do ART!
Running through the sprinklers with the cousins was a blast, especially for B who grabbed the hose and squirted Abby and Soph.
These three went on a horse back ride and had a great time.
The most fun was the afternoon of the Forster Summer Games 2010. There were multiple relay races with different obstacles. B has NEVER been this tired before. At dinner (6pm) she asked to leave the restaurant and go "home" to bed!
Ty ordering his grub.
All the cousins...finally in one place.
So close in weight, but not height.
On the way home, we stopped at Storybook Island. Brooklyn had a great time.
This was one of her favorite statues.

Finally after 10 days, we made it back to Colorado. There was a beautiful rainstorm just north of Fort Collins.

We sure do love where we live!!

Splash Park with Evan and Aiden

Fort Collins really has some amazing parks. Inspiration Park is one of our favorites--
a splash park, a playground for older kids and a playground for kids under 5. We met Evan there on his birthday because he wanted to play with B on his special day.

The babes...soon to be babe magnets. Hee hee.

4th of July

So excited for the festivites to begin. We went to church and then hit a town park that had some fun activities for the kids. Then we had the Wemmerus family over for dinner before heading downtown to see the fireworks. True Love....
Playing dress up and carnival games...

We even took a trolley ride in Old Town. When B gets scared she does this new thing of covering her ears. I guess I like that better than four dirty fingers in her mouth.
Here we are waiting for the fireworks and heavy rain to stop!
This picture was taken by Brooklyn!
And another one of B's photos. Her view of the back seat.
First Self-Portrait!
So after much crying and being scared of the drunk college guys, we could not get her out of the car. We had to watch the fireworks from inside the car instead of the lawn at City Park. She covered her ears and WOULD NOT LOOK...NOT EVEN OPEN HER EYES to see the fireworks. Oh well, maybe next year. On the way home she fell asleep with her sippy cup over her ears!
Both kids crashed hard--it was 11 pm I think.

Car Giggles...

So every now and then when we are riding in the car, Ty just absolutely cracks up at Brooklyn. Then B starts giggling and it usually continues for a while. Here is a minor one I caught on video!

Press play to see them giggle.

Camping at Vedauwoo

We had such a great time camping for the first time as a family of four. Notice our upgraded tent from the "two man" we used to use camping. Brooklyn brought her new Diego flashlight and played with her shadows till ten or later that night.
Mayhem inside the tent!
Here's our campfire for smores. It was hard to light, so Josh used a little gas....and POUFFF. Our "little" fire completely scared Brooklyn. She would not go NEAR IT!
See--Brooklyn is at least
20 feet from the fire at all times. AND SHE IS COVERING HER EARS!
Which made it pretty tricky to eat her smores. HeeHee.
Chillin' in the morning.
Ty LOVES camping....
B LOVES 'sploring!
Always leading the way and saying, "Hey, look at what I am going to see up here".
