Josh's Birthday!!

My hubby turned 34! We had his fave DQ icecream cake and went for sushi at our special place in Old Town. Happy Birthday LOVE.

Tree Hunting

We love our tradition of spending the morning at Bender Tree farm and looking for our perfect Christmas Tree. Each year it seems to get a little trickier because of the kids--next year will be the hardest with 2 toddlers AND an infant!! We invited the Lees to come with us. B just loves Jenna and Jacob. Jacob did a great job of helping Brooklyn down the steep parts. She hiked nearly all of it, but we did find our tree near the top of the hill this year.

There it is!

Afterwards we always have snacks and hot chocolate. A tradition started decades ago by Grandma Lola. B loves peppermint sticks in her "warm cocoa".
So tired he fell asleep 'mid bite...check out the bagel swinging around in his right hand.

A Day in Lincoln on the Drive Back Home

We broke up the long drive home with a day/night at my sister's house! It was a great Fall day and Josh was inspired to rake all my sister's leaves for the kids. They had a blast!
The pile was about four feet high before they pounce on it!
Getting some air off the picnic table.
Reading on the way home. They are PERFECT, I mean, PERFECT little travelers.

B loves to take her own photos. The following two are all her.

Children's Museum with Abby, Sophie, and Will

We had a fantastic time at the Children's Museum. Brooklyn talks about it all the time. At the construction site....
Learning drive through banking...Grandma is the teller.

Brooklyn loves to go pretend "storing" not sure why she doesn't say shopping.
The girls on the slide.

Thanksgiving in Wisconsin with the Forsters

So we DROVE to WI this year to save $$$. Big mistake (our car had a hit and run while parked and now we are spending $500 to fix it.) Live and learn I guess. We had a wonderful time with family and all the cousins loved being together.
Here's Grandma with a special baking time with Brooklyn.
Look at her hair and jeans...doesn't she look like a tiny teenager!!
The boys....these guys will be trouble together.
The yummy feast!

Turkey coma already setting in!
That's GREAT grandma Clarice at the end of the couch.

We're Pregnant AGAIN!!

Yep....even though I haven't told everyone I wanted in person yet---I can't wait any longer. We are preggers and due on June 13th (my parents wedding anniversary). I have been so sick the last 13 weeks.
These pics show how I've been spending most of my days lately.
B is dead set on having a baby sister. Even praying to God BEFORE we got pregnant. I have a feeling God will give her what she wants--she's too cute when praying.

Girl's Weekend in MN with DAWN!!!

Josh gave me a weekend without the kids for Mother's Day present. I finally cashed in on two days with Dawn Robbins!!! It was pure bliss--we lounge around and had big breakfasts at home. Then shopped ALL DAY! We ended with sushi in uptown Minneapolis then capped off the night with Cheesecake factory. Usually we would go dancing--but I was wiped out with being pregnant and we had so much talking and catching up to do. We even skyped her new man so I got to "virtually meet" Ted. Yeah. The next day we went to church and did a little more shopping and just hanging out. Miss you girl.Yes, we now have friendship bracelets in our 30's !!
Yummy sushi...this was our salad. Notice Dawn's new scarf.
Outside the Cheesecake Factory!!!

Beginning of November....

We all had the flu AT THE SAME TIME. Luckily for us, my mom had come to visit and she was a huge help. Sorry mom for ruining your weekend.
Ty had his first popsicle and is totally hooked.
First snow of the year. The kids were so excited. Ty was trying to break through the sliding glass door.
Didn't have boots yet for Ty. Here he is in PINK snow boots!!!
Eating some snow inside....just couldn't get these kids away from it.

Halloween 2010

This year I had a little sailor boy and princess Belle. We went downtown for the tiny tot halloween--it was SO CROWDED.Then Brooklyn's preschool put on a Fall carnival. Ty LOVED all the games. He was good at them especially for a 12 month old.

We went trick-or-treating with the Sieners. All the kids had so much fun together.
Then when we hung out at their house these two little ones would run to the door to see all the trick-or-treaters.
