Children's Museum in Lafayette....

Over spring break, Amy and I took the kids to the Children's Museum in Layfayette. It wasn't crowded at all, so the kids could run free and I didn't have to freak out about not seeing them at all times. Here Brennan and B are driving...Ty only liked the car when it wasn't moving. Kami had on a at least three different outfits that day.Cutie-Patootie

These were pulley chairs that lifted the chair up the pole.

The biggest hit was the room with the huge air blowers. Ty spent the most time in here watching the scarves float up about 20 feet before falling.

VIDEOS...

Here are two VIDEOS from the Museum. Press the play button under each image.

Fun in March....

The kids are crazy about art these days. What a surprise. They draw EVERY couple of hours throughout the day. They love to paint, cut and glue....this is their "art table".Showing off their masterpieces and gum. This was movie night at group night. All of them cuddled into the jumpy pit and Aiden played with toys.Racing his nascar.

Snow time INSIDE the house!

The kids really wanted to play in the snow, but Ty was still recovering from his nasty illness. So I brought the snow inside to them. They loved it. Especially when I added food coloring and they got to mix it and make it change colors. B wanted green of course! And Ty wanted "Boo".

Ty was really SICK!

So Ty came down with either RSV or Influenza A...this was the sickest my baby has ever been. Mostly had heavy cold symptoms, and three days of fever. For those three days, he just layed on us ALL day. It was so sad and so hard on my car accident injuries to carry him around all day. Here I finally slid him off my shoulder so he could rest on the couch. That was my only 20 minute break that day. So glad he is healthy again.

Daily Cuddles with Kaia

This little boy is our snuggle-bug. He always cuddles with his "Daia" Dog. It's so cute when he shares his blankie in the morning with her.

Valentine's Weekend at the BROADMOOR HOTEL!!

So my awesome hubby had his best year in real estate and accomplished the Sterling International Club award. I am so proud of him...and as a reward his company sent the top producers to the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs for an awards banquet/cocktail party.
My parents drove down to watch the kids.
Kickin' it in Papa's cowboy boots.
Getting ready for the big night in our luxury suite!
The lake at the hotel.

AND the boys with the professional photographer....

Check out these co-workers..... HA Ha.
We were all craving dessert by midnight so four couples headed to the room for creme brulee and amazing chocolate mousse by room service. First time I'd had $80 dessert. SO YUMMY--SO WORTH IT!

First Experience with Oreos and Milk

Brooklyn decided it was time to introduce Ty to oreos and milk. My favorite oreo story of B's is when Grandpa asked her what she wanted for dessert as he sat across the table and ate oreo cookies. She replied, "Uhhhmmm, I'm thinkin' something round, and brown, and it's something you can dip into milk!"
"Make sure you get all the crumbs outta there, sister!"

Random Events in January and February

Makin' SUGER COOKIES... check out Ty's expression!Yes, that's cookie dough all over his cheek. We didn't even end up baking this batch. Just ate the raw cookie dough over the week. I love eggbeaters!
Typical start to the day..."sickky cups" and breakfast while watching a dvd.
Climbing the stairs.
Working on a sock puppet. This one is going to be a sheep! Thanks Grandma Cheri.

Ty's First Haircut......

Finally time to cut Ty's hair. It didn't look that long, but he had hair growing from the top of his head that was five inches long. He was watching Elmo but every time the clippers touched his head he would squirm forward and wiggle.STAY STILL!
The finished product.

SNOW DAYS.....

SNOW ANGELS!
Building a pile for a fort...but not quite enough snow.
