My First Attempt at a Buttercream Transfer

So I found directions for a buttercream transfer on-line...and spent four hours creating Diego and Baby Jaguar in frosting. I think it would go much faster the second time around. PRESS THE ARROW BUTTONS to see me putting Diego on the cake. I was nervous!

Brooklyn's 3rd Birthday Party

We had the party at Inspiration Playground--such a great park! Ordered a four foot long sub sandwhich from Subway to make it easier. The kids had fun but everyone was scattered all over--didn't think about that in such a big park.

Here's the Birthday Girl blowing out her candle. She got amazing presents from everyone. Soccer set, gardening sets, hopscotch, walkie-talkies, games, and much more. We've been having fun playing every morning!!

Brother and Sister Time

Brooklyn's First Sleep-Over :]

Our friends from MN came for their sister's graduation and stayed at our house. We had the girls sleep together in Brooklyn's room. The conversations were so funny..."I like ladybugs, caterpillars, butterflies, do you like butterflies?" "No, I like Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Cinderella..." "And Flounder?????" We were lauging so hard.
They were actually smart enough to pretend to be "asleep" when we came in to bust them for talking. They eventually fell asleep at 9 oclock.

Josh's Black Eye...

Josh is on a flag football team that actually has quite a bit of contact. He took an elbow to the eye socket and got his FIRST black eye. (I beat him by 15 years)
