Dying Easter Eggs....

We had a really fun "glitter" Easter egg dying kit this year. Brooklyn had been waiting so long to actually use this kit because of the beads, glitter pens, and stickers. I thought I would get to it sooner--but we ended up doing it on Saturday, before Easter Sunday.
The eggs are all dyed and dry....now for the fun stuff!

Spreading the glue for the beads. I was pleasantly surprised there were no spills and Ty did a fantastic job for a 1 1/2 year old boy!

Easter Day 2011

Happy Easter 2011! We started out the day with banana/chocolate pancakes shaped as bunnies. Then we went to church, followed by an Easter egg "hunt". It actually was an Easter egg "pick-up" since all the eggs were just laying in the grass :]

New PATIO LOUNGE SET!!

Since we finished the gazebo over our deck, I've been wanting a patio loveseat for a comfy place to sit and watch the kids. I REALLY wanted one for THIS summer because of the newborn. So I asked Josh if it was time...and he said hurry up and order it before we know the total price on our basement project (which we underestimated carpet and drywall--hee hee) I am so excited....because of the car accident I can't sit on hard chairs...so these are PERFECT!

Ty's ALMOST broken nose!!

So Ty was wearing Brooklyn's shoes, ran into the kitchen and tripped on the rug. Fell face first into the corner of the wooden toddler chair and instantly had the hugest, swollen nose. He cried pretty hard till we found some cheetos for a distraction. He looks exactly like an AVATAR....blue and wide nose between the eyes. Poor guy!

Normally, Ty eats really neatly for a boy...except when you leave him alone with an ALMOST EMPTY bowl of pudding. Then he tries to get out every last drop with his hands and face.
