Well after months of trying to get to Brooklyn's "big girl room" done without success, we bribed my mom to come for a weekend to watch Brooklyn. Josh and I worked from 7am to 10pm for three days straight...painting, painting, and more painting...moving the office out of her new room, moving her stuff from the nursery into her room, and of course some garage sales were hit for fall necessities. Finally at the end, we celebrated by eating out at the Outback. YUMMY! Brooklyn was soooo excited about her new room. She still is excited.

Brooklyn's first night in her Big Girl Bed. She was so happy, fell right asleep after talking about it to Elmo. And hasn't even gotten out of bed yet without asking first. "Mom, I'm awake now!"
