Wisconsin Trip for B's Birthday

Flying to Gramps and Grandma's house was such a thrill for B. It was her 4th or 5th flight--but for the first time she was old enough to understand that we were actually on a plane in the air. We gave people lots of smiles as they saw her with her little princess suitcase. The "travel pro" wanted to pull her own suitcase by herself and most of the time wouldn't let us hold her hands. The funniest was when we walked four feet behind her and she was just strolling on her own. People did double takes.
Not quite ready for the big hoops yet.
Her first official dance class with Soph and Abbs. She mainly watched but participated in the dragonfly dance.
We had another party for her on her actual birthdate. She was pumped!

Here she is at the end of the night, with her new horse and couch.Elmo backpack, new baby book, and a new baby doll. She loved it!
Brooklyn loves her cousins.
All smiles.
More yummy, yummy cake.

Riding to the park with her new Elmo backpack. Daddy did most of the pushing! On the way from MSP airport to Eau Claire.
This is Teddy Bear Park. A really neat park that Grandma, Abbey, Brooklyn, Josh, Em, and I went to. Notice the model pose from Abbey.

Racing down the slide. Pretty sure it was a tie.
Row, Row, Row your Boat.

Brooklyn's Second Birthday!!

Wow...I can hardly believe it's been two years already. Brooklyn is the highlight of our lives. She is a very spunky, adventurous, and funny girl. She says the most random things now and loves to play games, chase and hide from people, and laugh. She's got a GREAT laugh. It's my favorite sound in the world. We had an Elmo theme--since it's her favorite character. All the kiddos (minus the babies) ate together on the picnic table.
I was lazy this year and ordered a cake. Too sick with first trimester stuff to think about creating another cake. It turned out cute and was very yummy.
Blowing the candles out on her own. She actually blew them out four or five times during the song and Josh kept lighting them.
Even Elmo himself had a great time partying!
Opening presents...she got lots of great art stuff. I am sooo excited for playtime!A little people's princess castle.
One of our presents was this go-cart. She LOVES riding it but can't steer yet. We have to be on our toes to grab her before she runs into things.
Auntie Malina gave her a play-do set complete with a cute monkey. She plays almost every day.
